up for the downstroke
BEFOREHAND FROM THE AFTERLIFE:
2010...I lost a few pages of the calender in the role of a ghoul starring as a valet on loan from a bankrobber: that was my epitaph and my coin in the fountain. But there is another sort of calender, far more exact and dangerous:
...The calender's name is Plaster of Paris. He often appears in the guise of a garage salesman, or a ballet editor, often alluding to obscure degrees from the televisions of Europe. When a thousand ships are launched, the calender will be found advancing parodies of a garage to the most extravagantly flawed pretensions. When cornered, he can divide apples into thirds...If seen, use extreme caution and do not attempt to detain the calender yourself, act naturally and alert some figurehead of higher authority...
THE CLYDESDALE YAYO'S TACOS 010910 acoustic set...alt-country...strong vocals
THE CHOKE DOUBLE DOWN 010910 straight ahead rawk...detroit ghosts and misfit/ramones anthem chorus
CLINTON PARLIAMENT FUNKADELIC BUFFALO BILLS 012310 8 minutes of groove on a catfish colllins style riff...belita sings about taking it to the bridge but it keeps chugging
I've been sifting through as many files and programs as one hundred percent of my bandwidth can take in, but I can't say there's too many that bear mentioning. I've had a change to bash around with Native Instrument's Massive, which really is capable of some arresting sounds...
kind of digging the lo-fi reverb and wandering drum rhythm on the Topaz Rags Capricorn LP. Have the people responsible recorded anything better?...
I can count good Dubstep tunes on one hand, but Matty G came through Smash with some downtempo jams with a really deep sound...
I finally made it to the Farm, if they had something that was worth checking out, the space is set up pretty well as far as the stage and sound system...all ages these days =lots of melodramatic band names...
Sometimes you forget not only people and places, but entire ideas. The meanings of ideas as real things. When you can't sell an occasion, it is the real symbol of something. When all occasions are sold, you and I will have died.
